Duće is situated near the city of Omiš, along the coast, in the bottom of the mountain range of Mosor. Long ago it had been a part of the famous republic of Poljica governed by a Count according to the rules of Statute of Poljica. Such historical heritage has left its particular influence on this region that prouds itself on the well preserved rural architecture. All the villages in the area have shallow sandy beaches, ideal for little children, as well as a large number of apartments and campsites.
